Soil Testing

Having a strong background in horticulture and turf allows us to approach each new lawn by looking at the long term goal of soil and turf improvement and not the cheapest and fastest quick fix.

A soil test analysis will report on the pH level and other important nutrient levels in the soil. From here we base an amendment fertiliser programme on these results that could be applied over the next one to two years. Correcting deficient levels will ensure your grass is up taking the desired soil nutrients being made available from the soil profile and from the fertilisers being applied. We aim to have a higher pH level ( 6 – 6.5 ). This level encourages a healthier soil profile, less thatch build up and less disease. We always apply a balanced N.P.K fertiliser + trace elements so to provide all essential plant nutrients. Let T.L.C take your soil test sample and report back with an amendment programme.
